Genesis Projection-----World Grid

Genesis Projection-World Grid

A1. World Grid
A2. 3 Fucking Seconds
B1. Lock & Load
B2. You Inside Of Me

Yo, world grid is the ultimate punt fake. It breaks with an Alice DeeJay sample that draws all the little party kids to the stage. It gets them humming along with what they think is "its a fine day", little do they know, that after the many glitches, stutters, and rolls is a grungy/nasty-ass kick that seriously makes them stand in shock. They are all left saying to themselves, "I thought i knew this song.......but i guess i was wrong "

I haven't heard the full vinyl yet, but I have heard World Grid from the last Megarave CD, it's pretty badass.

And ass for the punt fake, it totally works. I played it at a new years party, and totally got the kids goin with the sample...then horribly fucked them up.  ;D

poss actually informed me that the sample i was talking about from A1 was simply used by Alice Deejay almost ten years after it was first used, either way still a good party track. And Cap, i totally feel you on their boarder line party/mainstream sound. Listen to the other tracks and their anthemy melodies almost sound out of place with the way the rest of their tracks sound. Either way check this one out guys

i'm somewhat a fan of genesis projection. most of the stuff i like from them isn't normal mainstream but is still dancefloor friendly, i think they've found that nice boarder where it's not cheesy gayness but at the same time it's still really accessable......as far as this record, i need to check it out again :P
